Tournament Information

The San Diego Medal Play Championship will be contested over 36-holes on Saturday, August 20 at San Luis Rey Downs. This 36-hole season-ending championship will be the final event of the season as players attempt to qualify for the 2011 Century Club Amateur Team.

Entry fee of $175 includes green fees, cart fees, trophy, and player prize fund. Order of Merit points will be awarded to top finishers.

Tee times will commence at approximately 7:15 a.m. and again at 12:15 p.m. with players being re-paired according to 1st round score.

Eligibility

Entry is open to any non-collegiate golfer currently residing in San Diego County with a current USGA handicap of 5 or less. Please note the field is limited to 24 players and is on first come, first served basis, with registration priority going to those that are 6th-30th on the current Order of Merit.

Entry Deadline

Entry deadline is Tuesday, August 15, 2011 at 5 p.m. Players who register and withdraw prior to the entry deadline are subject to a $20 cancellation fee. Any withdraws or no-shows after the entry deadline will not receive a refund. Entries are on a 1st come, 1st served basis and players are encouraged to sign-up well in advance of the entry deadline.
