Players accrue points through their performance in the following events for the 2012 season:
2011 & 2012 U.S Mid Amateur Championship (www.usga.org)
July 30 – Qualifier @ Glendora & Hillcrest CC
Aug 13 – Qualifier at Cypress Ridge & Fairbanks Ranch
- 175 points for qualifying or being exempt from qualifying
- 100 points for qualifying for Match Play (2011)
- 200 points for qualifying for Match Play (2012)
- 200 points for each match won
2012 USGA Team Championship (www.usga.org)
- Any amateur golfer from San Diego County who is selected to compete in this championship shall earn 175 points.
